Lincoln Academy girls basketball team led by as many as 14 points in the third quarter, but were unable to hold off Spruce Mountain in a 58-54 loss Tuesday night in Newcastle. The Phoenix were led by Alex Bessey with 30 points and Haley Turcotte 18. Lincoln was led by Brie Wajer 14 and Cagney O’Brien 9.
