Lincoln Academy girls basketball team jumped out to a 21-7 first quarter lead then rolled to a 59-35 win in their Class B KVAC opener on the road at Belfast on Dec. 6. The Eagles were led by Payson Kaler with 17 points, Maddy York 11, Grace Houghton 8, Ellie Mathews 7 and Maisy O’Brien 7. Belfast was led by Mitchell with 12 and Faulkinham 10.
