Medomak Valley girls soccer team defeated Belfast 2-1 in their final KVAC home game of the season on October 13. All three goals were scored in the final 2:36 of the first half.
Cassie Smeltzer gave the Panthers a 1-0 lead with 2:36 to go after collected a through pass from Hallie Kunesh. Olivia Lovejoy tied the game with 1:15 to play. Kunesh scored the game winner with 14 seconds to play on a direct kick from about 30 yards out.
