The Medomak Valley girls basketball team won the battle of the big cats by thrashing the Belfast Lions 41-17 on Tuesday, Jan. 9 in Belfast. The Panthers improve to 7-3 on the season with the win.
Maya Cannon led the Panthers in scoring with 12 points, and Kytana Williamson had 11. Also scoring for the Panthers were Audrey Jackson 8, Sara Nelson 4, Sadie Knight 3, Haley Puchalski 2, and Chloe Fox 1.
Jaiden Philbrook led Belfast with 4 points.
