Medomak Valley girls soccer team robbed the Lions den in Belfast in overtime 2-1, on September 8. Hallie Kunesh scored the game winner with 13 seconds remaining in overtime on a scramble in front of the Lions’ net.
Aubrey Schaffer gave Medomak a 1-0 lead midway through the first half on a through pass from Sadie Cohen. Belfast freshman June Robertson tied the game to force OT.
