Medomak Valley girls basketball team improved to 7-1 with a 32-25 win over Cony on Jan. 9 in Augusta. The Lady Panthers played without leading scorer Gabby DePatsy, who was out sick. Medomak jumped out to a 9-0 first quarter lead and led 15-5 at the half. The Panthers held off the Rams in the second half for the win.
Medomak was led in scoring by Sadie Cohen 9, Lydia Simmons 6 and Aubrey Schaeffer 5. Cony was led by Hopkins 9, Coniff 6 and Caron 5.
