Medomak Valley girls soccer team opened their KVAC season with a 2-1 overtime win over Morse on Aug. 30 in Waldoboro. Freshman Autum Ripley converted a rebounded Sadie Cohen shot in the first half. Morse knotted the score on a shot from Emily Wottton before the half. Cassi Smeltzer converted a cross from Abby Lash 2:10 into overtime to lift the Lady Panthers to victory.
