Medomak Valley girls basketball team sank the Windjammers 40-28 in Waldoboro on Dec. 14. The Lady Panthers trailed 18-15 at the half, before out scoring Camden Hills 18-6 in the third period to take a nine point lead into the final period. Medomak’s defense did not give up a basket from the floor in an eight minutes stretch over the second and third quarters. The Panthers out rebounded Camden 12-5 in their third period rally.
Medomak was led by Sadie Cohen with 18 points, and Aubrey Schaeffer and Abby Lash 8 each. Camden was led by Seanna Montgomery 7 and Mirnada Dunton and Kassandra Krul 6 each.
