Medomak girls won the 3200 relay, Chelsea Wochomurka won the 3200, Morgan Baum the javelin, Josh Parmenter won the 300 hurdles and Alex MacKenzie the high jump for Medomak in a 10-team track and field meet at Belfast on May 22.
Lincoln girls placed 3rd in the 4×400 relay in 4:43 with Megan Peavey, Sara Komorowski, Haley Peavey and Nikki Leeman running a leg. H. Peavey was 2nd in the 100 hurdles in 19.98 and 3rd in the 300 hurdles in 56.35. Leeman placed 3rd in the 400 in 1:05 and 4th in the 100 hurdles in 19.44. Komorowski was 5th in the 400 in 1:09, 6th in the high jump (3’10”) and 100 hurdles in 20.5. Kiley Bickford was 4th in the high jump (4’4″). Laura Lee took 7th in the 300 hurdles in 1:00 and M. Peavey 7th in the 400 in 1:10.
Belfast won the girls’ meet with 139.5 followed by Medomak 79, Mt.View 55, Lincoln 37.5, Nokomis 97, MCI 68, Camden 53 and Rockland 38.
Josh Parmenter won the 300 hurdles in 44.14. Alex MacKenzie won the high jump (4’8″) was 3rd in the long jump (18’6″) and 4th in triple jump (37’5″). Patrick O’Donell was 2nd in the 800 in 2:02. Josh Anderson placed 3rd in the 1600 in 4:59 and 4th in the 3200 in 10:51. Tyler Isidro was 4th in the 200 in 24.68, 6th in 100 in 12.2 and javelin (123’9″). Billy Jones was 6th in the 110 hurdles in 20.44, and Caleb Guistra 6th in long jump (16’9″). Medomak boys placed 3rd in the 4×800 relay in 9:44 with Anderson, Joe Murphy, Derek Booker and O’Donnell; 3rd in the 4×100 in 48.78 with Deering Genthner, Isidro, Parmenter and MacKenzie; and 5th in the 4×400 relay in 1:01.
Lincoln boys placed 3rd in the 4×400 relay in 3:53 with Zach Miller, Ranger Langdon, Ben Ransdell and Jian Giglia, and 6th in the 4×800 relay in 11:38 with Martin Shott, Steven Severance, Peter Wells and Oliver Hodous. Giglia placed 4th in the 400 in 56.15 and 7th in the 200 in 24.82. Miller was 5th in the 300 hurdles in 48.55. Ransdell was 6th in the 400 in 56.65 and Eric Roberts 6th in shotput (37’11”).
Mt Ararat won for girls with 109, Mt. Blue 65, Maranacook 64, Erskine 24, MCI 17 and Brunswick 16.
In the boys’ meet, Leavitt won with 87.5, Lawrence 47, Morse 34, Nokomis 21.5 and Lincoln 16. Zach Miller won the 110 hurdles in 19:24 and was 3rd in the 300 hurdles in 49.3. Jian Giglia was 7th in the 200 in 25.56, Alex Braley 7th in the javelin (106’11”) and Elliot Barnes 7th in long jump (14.9″).
