Lincoln Academy boys won the KVAC cross country championships. Team members are David Barnum, Levi McAtee, Noah Jordan, Jarrett Gulden, Benji Bugh, Sam Russ and Tommy Thelander.
Lincoln Academy boys cross country team won the KVAC championship on Sat. ,Oct. 14 at Cony High School in Augusta. The Eagles scored 21 points in the win by placing five scoring runners in the top eight in Class B.
Sam Russ won the KVAC race in 17:44. Rounding out the scoring five were 3. Jarrett Gulden, 18:07; 4. Benji Pugh, 18:21; 5. David Barnum, 18:55; and 8. Noah Jordan.
Lincoln boys won the KVAC JV title as well.
Emma Allen was the top female runner for Lincoln, placing sixth in 22:22. Serena Blasius was the top daler for Medomak, taking 13th. Isaiah Potter was the top male runner for the Panthers, placing 25th in 20:32.
