Lincoln Academy girls basketball team picked up a 30-point win over Erskine Academy on Dec. 19 in Newcastle. The LA Eagles jumped out to an 18-3 lead, and continued to soar, leading 29-8 at the half and 46-17 at the end of three. Nine Lincoln players scored in the 54-24 win.
Scoring for Lincoln were Jen Genthner 13 (12R), Barrett Campbell 8 (3S,2A), Danielle Pinkham 7 (5A), Brie Wajer 6 (2R,2S), Leslie Sandefur 6 (4S,3A), Avae Traina 4 (7R), Taylor Oliver 4, Samantha Burke 4 (6R,2S), and Dani Pierce 2 (3R).
Scoring for Erskine were Hannah Bridges 8 (6R,3S), Stephanie Doe 5, Mallory Chamberlain 5, Taylor Boucher 2, Katie Gamage 2 (6R,2B), Aidan Traynor 1, and Emma Robertson 1.
