Lincoln Academy golf Improves To 3-0

Lincoln Academy’s golf team picked up wins over Rockland and Mt. View this week to improve to 3-0.

Lincoln 9 – Rockland 0The Eagles swept Rockland on their home course on Labor Day, 9-0. Lincoln shot a team round of 170 and Rockland 204. Malcolm Oliver (42) beat Riley Flanagan by three strokes. Low medallist Seward Matel (41) beat Cameron Clement by two strokes. Stephen Quinlan out stroked Connor Clement (60). Jalen Lincoln (49) beat Taylor Overlock (64). Alex Cosgrove (49) defeated Anthony Babauch (65). Casey Poland (43) won by forfeit.Lincoln 7 – Mt. View 2Lincoln out stroked Mt. View 7-2 with team totals of 166 to 196. Oliver (40) lost to low medallist Colby Blanchard (37). Matel (43) lost to Eric Larrabee by two strokes. Quinlan (41) defeated Zach Holman (55). Lincoln (42) topped Dan Muther (63). Poland (46) beat Olin Freeman by 19 strokes. Goran Johanson (43) defeated Dash Albright (80).
