The Lincoln Academy Alumni Council will host the 2012 Homecoming weekend on Sept. 28-30.
Friday night’s activities include a parade through Damariscotta and Newcastle, starting at 6 p.m.; a bonfire on the soccer field at 6:30 p.m.; and a school dance at 7:30 p.m. The Alumni Council will be serving hot dogs, hamburgers and snacks after the parade.
On Sat., Sept. 29, the field hockey team takes on Erskine at 11 a.m., with the JV game at 12:30; and the soccer teams take on Medomak with the girls JV game at 1 p.m., boys JV is at 3 p.m., girls varsity at 5 p.m., and boys varsity at 7 p.m.
The LA All Sports Boosters will hold a chicken barbecue ($9 meal, $7 chicken only), and a pie sale.
On Sunday, a golf scramble (with mulligans) will be held at Wawenock Country Club. The cost is $40 and includes lunch. Call Wawenock at 563-3938 to sign up.
