Lincoln Academy senior Alex Organ won the 800 at a 12 team KVAC indoor track and field meet held at Bowdoin College on Saturday. Organ won the 800 race in 2:05, and placed sixth in the high jump (5′).
Jordan Metz placed sixth for the Eagles in the 400 in 1:00.8. JP Lobley placed in two events for Medomak Valley, taking third in the triple jump (37’5″) and fifth in the high jump (5’2″).
Lillian Bisset and Lydia Harris placed in two events each for Lincoln girls. Bisset took third in the 55 hurdles in 9.83 and sixth in the 55 dash in 8.18. Harris placed third in the 400 in 1:05.71 and sixth in the 55 hurdles in 10.02. Olivia Richmond took sixth in the triple jump (29’3″). The Eagles placed fifth in the 4×200 relay in 2:02.
Jill van der Schaff placed fifth in the high jump (4’4″) for Medomak Valley.
Messalonskee girls won the meet. Lincoln girls placed sixth with 20.5 points, and Medomak 11th with 3 points. Edward Little won for the boys. Lincoln boys placed ninth with 14 points, and Medomak 11th with 9 points.
