Jordan breaks LA breaststroke record
Noah Jordan broke Lincoln Academy’s 100 breaststroke record, owned by Andy Dickens, Tuesday night in Boothbay in a time of 1:07.33. Jordan won the event, and took second in the 50 free in 24.89.
Boys results
Belfast boys won with 114 points, Lincoln was second with 64 and Boothbay third with 8.
The Eagles placed second in all three relays, the 200 medley in 2:00 with Camden Reiss, Jordan, Camden Gulden, and Tommy Thelander; the 200 free in 1:47 with Jordan, Gulden, and Anton Kalmysh, and the 400 free in 4:48 with Thelander, Kalmysh, Abe Steinberger, and Alejandro Ramos.
Gulden placed second in the 100 fly in 1:05 and third in the 100 breast in 1:12. Thelander was third in the 200 free in 2:37. Reiss took third in the 200 IM in 2:52 and the 100 back in 1:18. Theo Seidel took fourth in the 200 free in 2:54 and fifth in the 100 free in 1:12. Nathan Osborne was fourth in the 100 free in 1:10. Ramos was fourth in the 100 back in 1:25.
For Boothbay, Karl Alamo took third in the 100 free in 59.62 and fourth in the 100 breast in 1:20.
Girls results
Belfast girls won with 106 points, followed by Lincoln 62 and Boothbay 55.
Boothbay girls placed second in two relays, the 400 free in 4:44 with Emma Pearce, Brenna Alley, Evy Case and Nicole LeBreque, and the 200 free in 2:05 with Case, Lincoln Hamblet, LeBreque and Genevieve Taylor.
Lincoln girls were second in the 200 medley relay in 2:25 with Anna Sirois, Sammy Ober, Elise Dumont and Phoebe Pugh, and third in the 200 free relay in 2:25 with Erin Kelly, Samantha Aho, Jordan Farrin and Cassie Lincoln, and third in the 400 free relay in 5:12 with Sirois, Pugh, Annie Farnsworth, and Essie Martin.
Dumont took second in the 100 fly in 1:17 and fourth in the 200IM in 2:55. Martin was third in the 500 free in 7:01 and fifth in the 200 free in 2:34. Ober took third in the 100 breast in 1:28 and fifth in the 100 fly in 1:35. Sirois was third in the 100 back in 1:19.
Farnsworth took fourth in both the 50 free in 32.91 and the 100 breast in 1:49. Farrin was fourth in the 100 free in 1:16. Elizabeth Gilbert was fourth in the 100 back in 1:27. Samantha Aho was fifth in the 200 IM in 3:01; Kelly fifth in the 50 free in 33.24; and Pugh fifth in the 100 free in 1:20.
For Boothbay girls, Alley took second in the 100 back in 1:18 and fourth in the 200 free in 2:31. Case was second in the 200 IM in 2:41 and third in the 100 fly in 1:24. LeBreque was second in the 100 breast in 1:28 and third in the 200 free in 2:29. Pearce placed second in the 500 free in 6:53 and fourth in the 100 fly in 1:32. Hamblet was third in the 100 free in 1:12.
