Lincoln Academy baseball defeated Medomak Valley 8-0 May 16 in Waldoboro. Senior hurler AJ Oliver went the distance in the win, striking out 10, walking one, and scattering
three hits. Micah Williamson took the loss (3K,2B,1HP,12H).
Oliver helped his own cause in the second inning with a single and scored on a Brett Cowan double. The Eagles added two runs in the third. Sawyer Pinkham singled and scored on a
two out single to Wally Morris. Tim Farray drove in Morris with a double.
Lincoln added a run in the fifth when Oliver singled and scored on a Travis Creamer single. They added two runs in the sixth. Brady Leeman walked to set up RBI singles to
Pinkham and Devin Scherer. Lincoln plated two more runs in the top of the seventh. Cowan singled and scored on a passed ball; Leeman was hit by a pitch and scored on a John
Henry double.
Hitting for Lincoln were Oliver with a triple and single, Cowan a double and single, Pinkham two singles, Farrar and Henry a double each, and Scherer, Creamer, and Leeman a
single each. Hitting for Medomak were Riley McCollett, Williamson, and Nicholas DePatsy a single each.

Lincoln 11 – Mt. View 0
Lincoln Academy baseball collected an 11-0 win over Mt. View on May 14 in Thorndike. Devin Scherer scattered five hits in the shutout win (8K,1B).
The Eagles jumped on the ball early, batting around and scoring six runs in the top of the first. Lincoln had seven hits in the inning from Sawyer Pinkham (2 hits, 2RBI),
Scherer, Oliver (2RBI), Morris, Farrar (RBI), and Creamer (RBI).
Lincoln added a run in the third when Creamer reached on an error and scored on a balk. They scored two in the fourth. Oliver singled and scored on a Morris single, and Morris
scored on a passed ball. They scored two in the fifth when Lucas Bickford walked and scored on a John Henry double. Henry scored on a Pinkham ground out.
Hitting for Lincoln were Oliver 3 singles, Pinkham, and Morris 2 each, Henry a double, and Scherer, Farrar, and Creamer a single each. Hitting for Mt. View were Nathan Wren a
triple, and Joey Danna, Erik Larrabee, Mikey Hustus (losing pitcher), and Emmott Shell a single each.

Sawyer Pinkham (3H,6K,1B) went the distance May 20 to lift the LA Eagles to a 2-0 win over Erskine Academy. Ryan Rodrigue took the loss (6H,5K,1B).
Lincoln scored a run in the bottom of the first inning. Pinkham doubled, moved to third on a balk and scored on a Devin Scherer ground out. Lincoln added two runs in the fourth
when AJ Oliver singled, moved over on a Wally Morris single, and scored on a Travis Creamer single.
Hitting for Lincoln were Pinkham two doubles, Morris with a double and single, and Oliver and Creamer a single each. Hitting for Erskine were Tyler Bailey, Rodrigue, and Nate
Martin a single each.
