Lincoln Academy boys basketball team defeated Lake Region on the road on Dec. 15, 74-71. Nathan Simmons hit a three pointer with five seconds to play to lift the Eagles to victory.
Lincoln led by double digits with three and a half minutes to play. A couple of turnovers, fouls called, and technical foul called on Cody Tozier. Coach Ball said Tozier was “walking out of group of boys when a kid jumped in front of him and laid down. They gave him a technical,” Ball. The Lakers went on to tied the game.
Scoring leaders for Lincoln were Keyden Leeman 25, Tozier 21, Nate Masters 9 and Simmons 8. Lake Region was led by Tyler Walker 37, Tristan Chaine 11 and True Meyers 11.
