Lincoln Academy boys cross country team placed fourth at the South Class B Regionals on Sat., Oct. 29 at Twin Brook Recreation in Cumberland to qualify for States. The State Cross Country championships will be held in Belfast on Nov. 5.
Sam Russ led the Eagles, placing fourth in 17:21. Rounding out the scoring five for Lincoln were 15. David Barnum, 17:55; 20. Jarrett Gulden, 18:02; 22. Benji Pugh, 18:04; and 39. Noah Jordan, 18:49.
No Lincoln Academy girls qualified for States. The Lady Eagles top runner Emma Allen (running with an ankle injury) placed 37th in 22:21. The top 30 runners qualify for States.
