Lincoln County Football defeated Hyde 20-13 on Monday at Great Salt Bay Community School. The Eagles jumped out to a 13-0 halftime lead. Travis Creamer ran for a five yard touchdown, with Spencer Alden kicking the after point. Lucas Bickford made it 13-0 with a one yard run.
Hyde ran back the second-half opening kickoff to pull within a touchdown. Quarterback Matthew Tomasello threw a 55 yard touchdown pass to Brett Cowan, and Alden connected for the extra point to put Lincoln County up 20-7. Hyde scored on an eight yard out with a minute to play.
Tomasello was 7 for 9 and threw for 160 yards including one touchdown pass. Isaac Charbonneau ran for 40 yards and had two receptions for 60 yards. Travis Creamer rushed for 70 yards. Cowan caught two passes for 90 yards, and Lucas Bickford rushed for 35 yards.
Defensively, the Eagles were led by Nick Morton, Charbonneau, Jacob Robison and Derek Woodbury.
