Rockland jumped out to a 5-0 lead after two and a half innings. They plated four runs in the first on back to back triples to Connor McGonagle and Zach Coter, and RBI errors to Trever Reed, Ben Ripley and Jayden Martin.
Reed scored a run in the top of the third when he beat out an infield hit for a single and scored when Martin was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.
Lincoln County got two runs back in the bottom of the third. Teddy Matel singled and scored on an error, and Gus Hunt reached on a fielder’s choice and scored on a bases loaded walk to Leonard Wall.
Rockland went up 6-2 in the fourth when Carl Ilvonen was hit by a pitch and scored when Dougherty was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.
Lincoln pulled within two with two runs in the fourth. Chris Sullivan reached on an infield single, and Matel singled to set up two RBI ground outs from Hunt and Sam Laemmle.
Lincoln batted around in the fifth inning, scoring five runs to take a 9-6 lead. Bradley Cross, Quincy Perry and Sullivan singled to load up the bases for an RBI ground out to Bryce York, RBI error to Hunt, and RBI singles to Laemmle and Sullivan Fink. Hunt scored on a passed ball.
Rockland’s rally fell short in the top of the sixth with two runs. McGonagle singled, Reed walked and both scored when Riley reached on an error. Laemmle struck out the final batter to end the game with a one run victory.

Hitting for Lincoln were Fink with two doubles and two singles, Sullivan two singles, and Matel, Laemmle, Cross, Perry and York a single each.
Hitting for Rockland were McGonagle a triple and two singles, Cote a triple, and Reed, Dougherty, Ripley, and LeBlanc a single each.
