Lincoln Academy girls basketball team avenged an earlier season loss to Mt.Ararat on Jan. 17 with a 43-22 win in Newcastle. The LA Eagles jumped out to a 17-10 first quarter lead, then held Mt.Ararat scoreless in the second frame to lead 25-10 at the half.
Lincoln girls were led by Maddy York with 11, Chelsea Williams 10, Ellie Mathew 9 and Lizzie Ober 8. Mt.Ararat was led by Theresa Breed with 7.
