Lincoln Academy girls’ basketball team had a good showing in the Portland Holiday Tournament.
The Lady Eagles lost to Portland 67-63 on Dec. 26. “We should have beat them. We would have if they had boxed out,” coach Sam Farrell said.
Stephanie Winchenbach scored 29 points in the game. In their second game of the tournament, Windham defeated Lincoln 51-39. Kari Jones netted 15 points for Lincoln in the loss. Lincoln had no managers at the tournament, so no scoring details of the games were recorded.
