Lincoln Girls’ Lacrosse Pick Up Second Win of Year

Lincoln Academy girls’ lacrosse team picked up their second win (2-8) of the season with an 8-6 victory over Camden on Monday. Molly Stackhouse and Katrina Belle scored three goals each, and Charlotte Nutt and Leslie Fossett one each for the Eagles. Grace Bibber made 9 saves in net for the Eagles. Scoring for the Jammers were Sarah Leidinger with 2 and Seanna Kelly, Katie McHenry, Eleanor Coleman, and Rachelle Genert with one each.

Allie Holmes had 12 saves in net for Camden.

Oxford Hills 27 – Lincoln 12Ebony Mills netted 10 goals to lead Oxford Hills to a 27-2 win over the Eagles. Stackhouse netted 6 goals, Belle 3 goals, one assist, Nutt 3 goals and Phoebe Arnold added an assist. Bibber made 8 saves in net for Lincoln and Mariah Kimball 6 for Oxford.South Portland 18 – Lincoln 7N. LePlant scored 7 goals to lead South Portland over the Lady Eagles. Scoring for Lincoln were Stackhouse with 4, Belle 2 and Nutt one. Bibbver made 7 saves for Lincoln and I. San 7 for South Portland.Gardiner 21 – Lincoln 14Gardiner defeated Lincoln Academy girls’ lacrosse in 90 degree heat on Tuesday. Because of the heat, the two teams agreed to play all their players, varsity and JV in the game.

Stackhouse netted 5 goals, Belle and Nutt 3 each, Celia Howland 2 and Fossett one for Lincoln Academy. Scoring for Gardiner were Brooke Davis 6, Jen Day 4, Becca Paradise 3, Julie Krouse, Caitlyn Ham and Alli Prince 2 each and Caitlin Phillips one.

Grace Bibber and McKayla Vinal shared keeper duties for the Eagles.
