Lincoln Academy girls and Medomak Valley boys placed second to Camden Hills in a track and field meet in Waldoboro on May 8.
Girls results
Camden won with 167, followed by Lincoln 101, Medomak 57, Oceanside 35, and North Haven 7.
Eagle Sam Burke won the shot put (31’3.5″) and 5th in the racewalk I 12:05. Allison Werhle won the racewalk in 9:39 and took 4th in the triple jump (24’8.5″). Sophie Schumacher won the 400 in 1:07, was 3rd in the 100 in 14.16 and 4th in the 200 in 29.87.
Jenny Arter took 2nd in the discus (72’4″). Lillian Bisset placed 2nd in the 100 hurdles in 18.18, and 3rd in the 200 in 29.18 and 300 hurdles in 54.42. Allie Gorrill took 2nd in the javelin (71′), 3rd triple jump (25’10”), and 4th 800 in 2:50. Lydia Harris placed 2nd in 300 hurdles ( 51.85) and 4th in 100 hurdles in 18.42. Michaela Peabody was 3rd in the 100 hurdles in 18.2, and 5th in the 200 in 30.49 and long jump (11’8″). Julianna Lafrenaye took 4th in the 100 in 14.25. Hannah Nevans took 5th in the 800 in 2:53. Heather Benner was 5th in the javelin (60′).
Lincoln girls placed second in all three hurdles, the 4×800 in 11:46 with Julia Ribeiro, Camille Lazzari, Gorrill and Maggie Nevans; the 4×400 in 4:52 with Lazzari, Cate Organ, Schumacher, and Teiga Martin; and the 4×100 in 56.04 with M. Peabody, Lafrenaye, Harris, and Bisset.
Medomak girls won the 4×400 relay in 4:50 with Lexie Genthner, Nichole Nicholls, Taylor Mason and Ashlee Wilson. They took 3rd in the 4×100 in 57.03 with Genthner, Nicholls, Wilson, and Cassie Dever.
Nicole Nicholls won the high jump (5’2″), and was 2nd in the long jump (13’6.25″). Allison Werhle won the 1600 racewalk in 9:39, and Myra Moore was 3rd in 11:30.
Annabelle Bouchard took 2nd in the discus (71’9″). Cassie Dever was 3rd in the high jump (4’4″) and Jill van der Schaff and Justice Barrows tied for 4th (4’4″). Van der Schaff took 3rd in the javelin (69′). Ashlee Wilson took 3rd in the long jump (13’6.5″). Emylee Leary was 4th in the shot put (24’9.5″). Jasmin Ramos was 5th in the100 hurdles in 21.29. Riley Arbour was 5th in the triple jump (24’6″).
Boys results
Camden boys won with 123 points, followed by Medomak 120, Lincoln 55, Oceanside 62 and North Haven 8.
Panther Ethan Morin won the 300 hurdles in 47.42, and took 3rd in the 110 hurdles in 20.07 and javelin (114’8″). J.P. Lobley won the triple jump (37’1.5″), Maty Moore was 4th (32’7.5″) and Ryan Martin 5th (26’6″). Moore was 3rd in the high jump (5’4″).

Zidane McMurrin was 2nd in the high jump (5’6″) and triple jump (36’6″), and 3rd in long jump (14’4.5″). Nick York took 2nd in the shot put (38’8.75″). Gavin Felch was 2nd in the 110 hurdles in 18.77 and 3rd in 400 in 57.26. Daniel Bubar took 2nd in the 3200 in 11:42. Brandon McAuliffe was 3rd in the 300 hurdles in 50.61. Chris Shelmerdine was 3rd in the 800 in 2:20 and 4th in discus (84’10”). Ryan Economy took 3rd in the 200 in 24.83 and 4th in the 100 in 12.16. David Herron was 4th in the 200 in 24.95 and Andrew Cronk 5th in 25.35. Cameron Leach was 4th in the 1600 in 5:50. Cole Ashmore took 5th in the 300 hurdles in 50.94 and long jump (13’7.25″).
Medomak boys placed 2nd in the 4×400 relay in 4:00 with Economy, Felch; 2nd in the 4×800 relay in 10:06; and 3rd in the 4×100 in 51.12 with Moore, Economy, David Herron and Lobley.
Lincoln boys won two relays, the 4×800 in 9:06 with Riley Cushing, Alex Organ, Seward Matel, and Julian Frink; and the 4×400 in 3:52 with Max Smith, Matel, Frink, and Organ. The Eagles took 4th in the 4×100 relay in 53.97 with Smith, Angus Fake, Caleb Mullen and Kai Bai.
Julian Frink won the 800 in 2:12, and Matel 2nd in 2:16. Nolan Young won the javelin with a throw of 124’1″.
Organ was 2nd in the 400 in 54.52 and 5th in high jump (5’4″). Cushing placed 5th in the 400 in 1:00. David Ribeiro was 5th I the 1600 in 6:10. Westleigh Munroe took 3rd in the discus (87’7″) and 5th in the shot put (35’1″). Abe Steinberger was 5th in the javelin (104’1″).
