Lincoln Academy girls tennis team defeated Erskine Academy 3-2 in the battle of the Eagles in South China on May 16. Emily Harris swept Ellie Hodgkins 6-0, 6-0 at first singles. Sandra Thelander lost to Cassidy Penney in three sets at second singles, 7-6, 6-3, 10-0. Polina Scimone beat Morgain Kammen 6-2, 6-0 at third singles. Kate Peters and May Halm defeated Paige Leary and Kali Shorey 7-5, 6-3 at first doubles. Anastasiya Oliver and Ellie Mathews fell 5-7, 1-6 to Kayla Hubbard and Annemarie Allen at second doubles.
