Lincoln County 11&12 year old Little League All-Stars defeated Waldo 6-1 on July 11 to earn a berth in the District 2 championship game. Myles Wotton and Cody Cleaveland gave up just one hit in the win, a double to Noah Hurd.
Hitting for the local boys were Cleaveland with two doubles and two singles, Nick Prior a two run homerun and single, and Cedar Cannon, Micah Tomasello and Aiden Gallagher a single each.
Medomak 11&12 Little League All-stars were eliminated by Oceanside 7-4 on July 9. The game was tied 4-4 going into the fourth inning. Medomak collected three hits, a double to Gabe Lash and singles to Ryan Jarvais and Wyatt Simmons.
In District 2 9&10 Little League All-star action on July 11, Waldo beat Lincoln County 19-6. Hitting for Lincoln were Aidan Sanborn with a triple and double, Owen Cotta a double and single, and Zaid Osman a double.
