Lincoln Academy boys and girls track teams placed second in the KVAC opener in Bath on April 17. Michael McAtee and Lillian Bisset won two events, and Alex Organ, Essie Martin, Lydia Harris, Allison Wehrle and Samantha Burke won one event each.
Morse boys won with 103 points, followed by Lincoln 41, and Mt.View 40. Morse girls won with 59 points, followed by Lincoln 55 and Mt.View 51.
Freshman Riley Cushing placed in three events, taking third in the 400 in 1:02, fourth in the high jump (4’8″), and seventh in the 200m in 29.14. Caleb Mullin took third in the javelin (101’8″) and fifth in the 200 in 29.14.
Max Smith placed fourth in the 400 in 1:02, fifth in the 100m in 13.39 and eighth in the 200 in 29.34. Jonah Vesery placed sixth in the 100 in 13.58. Jordan Metz took sixth in the 200 in 28.32, and eighth in the 100 in 13.77. Julian Frink took eighth in the 800 in 2:52.
Lincoln boys won the 4×400 relay in 4:04 with Smith, Cushing, Frink and Organ, and took second in the 4×100 in 22.89 with Metz, Vesery, Angus Fake and Mullen.
Morse won with 59 points, followed by Lincoln 55 and Mt.View 51.
Bisset also won the 200 in 31.37, and placed fourth in the 300 hurdles in 58.75. Harris won the 300 hurdles in 54.23. Allison Wehrle won the 1600m racewalk in 10.07, tied for seventh in the long jump (10’7″), and took fifth in the javelin (60’1″). Sam Burke won the shot put (26’10”). Essie Martin won the 800m run in 2:51, and took third in the 1600 in 6:18.
Teiga Martin was third in the 300 hurdles in 57.27, and sixth in the 100 in 15.35 and sixth in the javelin (42’2″). Cate Organ placed third in the 400 in 1:17, and sixth in the 200 in 33.05. Allie Gorrill took third in the 800 in 2:53 and sixth in the long jump (10’9″).
Michaela Peabody placed fourth in both the 200 in 32.72 and the long jump (12’11”). Heather Benner took fourth in the high jump (4’2″). Juliana Lafrenaye took fifth in the 100 in 15.34, fifth in the high jump (3’10”) and eighth in the 200 in 34.20. Camille Lazzari took fifth in the 800 in 3:00. Heidi Zeigra placed fifth in the 300 hurdles in 1:04. Courtney Peabody took sixth in the 400 in 1:25. Lexie Dalton was seventh in the 100 in 15.81.
Lincoln girls won the 4×100 relay in 57.6 with M. Peabody, Harris, Lafrenaye and Bisset running a leg; and took second in the 4×400 relay in 4:55 with Harris, E. Martin, Lazzari and T. Martin.
