Lincoln Academy wrestlers competed in a quad meet in York on Saturday, losing three matches, including two close ones. The Eagles lost to Portland by a match, 30-36, to York 21-40, and to Kennebunk 10-51.
Michael Baty (126) pinned Jess York (Y) in 2:42, and was pinned by Matt Plummer (K) in 3:55 and Jamie Caves (P) in 54 seconds.
Alec Young (138) defeated Nick York (Y) by 2-0 decision, Keenan Beaudette (K) by 7-3 decision, and won by forfeit.
Jimmy Benner (145) was pinned by Josh Smith (Y) in 3:04, lost a 3-7 decision to Cole Hallee (K), and won by pin over Liam Fox (P) in 2:28.
Dalton Waltz (152) won by forfeit, and was pinned by Ryan Upton (K) in 42 seconds and by Zach Russell (P) in 38 seconds.
Dakota Brown (160) was pinned by Andrew Boisvert (Y) in 4:32, beat Griffin Broughton (K) by 11-2 major decision, and was pinned by Greg Casella (P) in 1:45. Wiscasset independent Logan Grover (160) was pinned by Conner Ellsmore (Y) in 1:15 and by Greg Casella (P) in 3:13.
Trevor Jones (170) was pinned by Jack Bouchard (Y) in 24 seconds, by Pat Sanders (K) in 17 seconds, and by Matt Aldus (P) in 39 seconds.
Nate Geoffrion (182) lost a 14-2 decision to Mark Slusher (Y), won by 5-3 decision over Andrew Burns (K), and won by forfeit.
Lucas Bickford (195) won by forfeit, was pinned by Zach Hadley (Y) in 22 seconds, and Conner Donahue (K) in 1:08.
