Belfast defended their Lions den for a 10-6 win over Lincoln Academy baseball on April 25. The Eagles trailed by one, 3-2 heading into the bottom of the sixth inning, when the Lions took advantage of four Lincoln errors to score seven runs. Lincoln’s rally fell short in the top of the sixth with four runs. Skyler Perkins collected the win for Belfast, and Bradley Cross took the loss for the Eagles.
Hitting for the Eagles were Basel White with two doubles and a single (2RBI), Andrew Greenleaf a double and single, and Hunt, Joseph Giberson (RBI), Quincy Perry (RBI), Sullivan Fink, and Bradley Cross (RBI) a single each. Chase Crockett collected a RBI. Hitting for Belfast were Brandon Cornoyer 2 singles (2RBI), Dokota Payson 2 singles (RBI), and Tyler Bartlett (RBI), Luke Hamlin (RBI), Perkins, and Greg Dinsmore (3RBI) a single each.
