Savanna Poole, of Edgecomb, is a member of the Maine Lady Pirates 14U Girls’ hockey team, and her teammates won the Rhode Island Panthers 14U Tier Two ice hockey tournament in Cranston, RI, over Thanksgiving weekend, going undefeated in the tournament.
The team, which is sponsored by the Portland Junior Pirates, is made up of the top 13 and 14-year-old female hockey players from across Maine.
Poole also plays for the North Yarmouth Academy girls’ middle school team and the Casco Bay 14U girls’ travel team.
