Less than 10 people came out to support Troop 216 Boy Scouts in their annual Jefferson 5K fundraiser. Five runners and four walkers participated in what used to be the troop’s largest fundraiser. Proceeds from the race help purchase Scout badges and help Scouts go on outdoor and camping outings.
The 5K race was won by Tom Abello, followed by Darren Winchenbach, Emma Allen, Ellen Spring, and Johnny Kosnow.
