Oceanside softball defeated Medomak Valley 3-0 on June 7 to advance to the North B Regional finals. After five scoreless innings, the Mariners took advantage of an error and three walks to plate three runs in the bottom of the sixth to win.
Chloe Jones struck out nine in the win (4H, 1BB). Addie Jameson took the loss, and Gabby DePatsy closed out the final 1.2 innings.
Hitting for the Lady Panthers were Sadie Cohen with two singles, and DePatsy and J. Jameson a single each. Hitting for Oceanside were Rachel Joyce and Casey Pine with first inning singles.
Medomak left seven base runners stranded, including two in the fifth and two in the sixth.
