Oceanside defeated Medomak Valley softball 3-2 on April 27 in Rockland. The Mariners scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh on a single to left field from Jessica Watkinson that scored Callie Grover.
Chloe Jones and Adrianna Whitmore pitched in the win, and Gabby DePatsy and Addie Jameson in the loss.
Hitting for Medomak were A. Jameson with a solo homerun, DePatsy three singles and Hallie Kunesh and Sadie Cohen a single each. Hitting for Oceanside were Abbie Vellieux thee singles, Jones a RBI double, Grace Woodman and Jessica Watkinson two singles and a RBI each, and Hannah Moholland, Casey Pine and Grover a single each.
