The Panthers picked up their 10th win of the season on Oct. 8 with a 5-2 win over Belfast in Waldoboro. Medomak girls were still shaking the school day sluggishness out of their systems when Belfast took a 1-0 lead with 23:45 to go in the half on a shot from Whitney Cross.
Medomak scored the equalizer two and a half minutes later when Snow headed in a corner kick taken by Julie Ennamorati. That was the start of a three goal run in a five- and a 18-second span.
Ennamorati scored on a breakaway to give the Lady Panthers the lead for good, then Snow put in a rebounded Emily Sirianni shot to put Medomak up 3-1. Belfast’s Emily Violette scored on a cross to cut the lead to 3-2 at the half.
Taylor Keefe scored on a Snow cross with 26:24 to go in the second half, and again with 12:10 to play on a cross from Ennamorati on the wing.
Medomak led a 26-6 advantage in shots. Destoney Pinkham made 13 saves for the Lions, and Rachel Keefe three stops for the Panthers.
