Medomak 8th grade travel team defeated Rockland 47-33 to win the 30th annual Boothbay Region YMCA Basketball Classic on March 6-8. Boothbay’s Anthony DiMauro was named Tournament MVP.
Players selected to the All Star team were Anthony DiMauro, Andrew Hallinan, and Lincoln Simmons for Boothbay; Jarrin Cocco and John Murray of Medomak; Brendan Hall and Jacob Butman of Rockland; Mike Woods and Zac Plummer of Hall-Dale; John Riley of Lincoln; and, Jayson Kuhn of Camden.
Rockland won the two ball contest, Hall-Dale was second and Lincoln third with Grady Madden and Johnathan Riley. Rockland won the Team Sportsmanship award.

Boothbay 7th grade travel were out sized by Lincoln in game 10. Lincoln jumped out to a 16-0 lead. Riley was game MVP for Lincoln, and Maddocks for Boothbay.
Medomak 34 – Boothbay 8th 31
Tied at the end of three, Medomak stole a nail biter from Boothbay in game 15. DiMauro (16) was game MVP for Boothbay, and Jonathan Hedrickson (8) for Medomak.
Rockland 46 – Boothbay 43
Rockland eliminated Boothbay (3rd place) in game 17.
