Medomak 8 – Camden 7
Medomak Valley baseball held off the Windjammers on Friday for an 8-7 win. Both teams threw three pitchers.
Nick DePatsy started for the Panthers (5 1/3 I, 4K,2B,7H,4R) and Riley McCollett (3R,2B,2H) and Micah Williamson (2I,1B,0R) pitched in relief. Williamson collected the win. Relief pitcher A. Hall took the loss for Camden.
Medomak jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning. Williamson and McCollett drew walks and scored on an Ollie Brown triple. Brown scored on a DePatsy sacrifice fly.
Camden scored one in the second on an RBI single to K. Crans. Medomak plated two in the home half of the inning to take a 5-1 lead. Brown singled and scored on a DePatsy double.
The Panthers added a run in the fourth when McCollett walked and scored on a wild pitch.
The Windjammers sailed back, plating one run in the fifth when B. Rollins tripled and scored on a Crockett ground out, and five runs in the sixth to take a 7-6 lead. Rollins had an RBI single, Crockett and Crans RBI walks, and Wolff an RBI sacrifice fly.
Medomak went to work in the bottom of the sixth to score two runs for the win. Brown singled and DePatsy walked to set up an RBI single from Isaac Eustler for the tie and an RBI ground out from Jackson Vail for the game winner.
Hitting for Medomak were Brown with a triple and two singles, I. Eustler a double and single, DePatsy a double, and Williamson, McCollett, and Wilcox a single each. Hitting for Camden were Wickenden three singles, Rollins a triple and single, Pierce two singles, and Crans and LaFiecher a single each.
Morse 4 – Medomak 0
Morse hurler Holbrook fired up a two-hit shutout (1B,3K) to beat Medomak 4-0 on Tuesday in Bath. Riely McCollett took the loss (6I,1B,4K,6H).
Nick DePatsy and Jackson Vail
collected the only hits for Medomak.
Morse took a 2-0 led in the first inning on RBI singles to LaCavera and Ethan Winglass. They added two runs in the third on an error, an RBI single to McDonough, and an RBI double to Holbrook.
Hitting for Morse were McDonough with two, Holbrook a double, and LaCavera, Drouin, and Jacobs a single each.
Medomak is 5-8.
