Medomak baseball used Monday’s pre-season scrimmage with Mt.Ararat as a tune-up for their KVAC season, which starts at Lincoln Academy April 23.
It was the first outdoor scrimmage of the season for the Panthers. Five pitchers saw mound time in the 7-3 win, including Isaac Greenrose, Isaac Durkee, Steven Genthner, Buddy Simmons and Taylor Williamson. “They threw pretty well in their first time on the mound in a game like situation,” coach Richie Oliver said.
“Hitting, we were a little bit behind. We had more strikeouts than I would like to see, but it’s still early,” Oliver added. Collecting hits for Medomak were Williamson with two and I. Greenrose, Genthner, Shane Osier and John Bartlett one each.
