Medomak Valley boys’ basketball team defeated the Alumni 62-54 Saturday night. The elder Panthers hit four 3-pointers in the second half to stay within striking distance. Kevin Fogg led Medomak with 15 points, Alex Goldrup chipped in 12, Caleb Guistra 7, Jason Vinal 6, Alex MacKenzie 6, Tyler Isidro 3, Dale Winchenbach 3, and Dan Abuel, Taylor Williamson, Isaac Durkee, Cody Neptune, and Kurt Wart with 2 each.
Scoring for the Alumni were Andy Ferrier 9, Brian Blackman 8, Zach Armstrong 7, Matt MacKenzie 6, Stephen Benner 6, Jason Rhoda 6, Zach Durkee 3, John Wood 3, Travis Merrifield 3, Cliff Blackman 2 and Scott Migliore 1. Also playing for the Alumni were Marcus Benner, Clayton Barnes, and Derek Vannah.
In the Oldies alumni game, the Gold team won 66-58. A book was not kept on the game.
