Nobleboro boys basketball team won the Busline League small school championship Jan. 29 in Wiscasset. The Lions defeated Searsport 69-37. Joel Hatch scored 25 and Bryce York 22 to lead Nobleboro. Searsport was led by Charlie Speigal 14 and Isaiah Runci 10.
Medomak Middle School boys and girls 7th grade basketball teams won Busline League large school division championships Jan. 29 in Boothbay. Medomak girls beat Boothbay 26-24. Medomak boys defeated Troy Howard Middle School of Belfast.
