Medomak boys’ and girls’ cross country teams ran to victory at the Camden Hills Invitational on Oct. 9. The boys placed five scoring runners in the top 11 and the girls five in the top seven. Widzgowski of Camden won the boys’ race in 17:11, and Lincoln’s Nikki Leeman won the girls’ race in 20:55.
The Panthers scored 38 points to beat out Camden 75, Lincoln 80, Rockland 86 and North Haven and MCI had no score. Patrick O’Donnell led Medomak with a third place finish in 17:45. Josh Parmenter placed fifth in 18:37; Joe Murphy ninth in 19:29; Andrew Allen 10th in 19:49; and Brendon O’Donnell 11th in 20:28 to wrap up the Panthers scoring five. Also running for Medomak were 16. Nick Anderson, 21:05; 17. Quinton Vannah, 21:07; 18. Mike Gilman, 21:20; 19. Taylor Packard, 21:21; 26. Vinny Vannah, 22:15; 34. Ben Paxson, 24:54; and 39. Gary Ward placed fourth in 18:05 to lead the Eagles to a third place finish. Steven Severance took 13th in 20:35; 15. Alex Benner, 20:58; 23 Wyatt Ray, 22:06; 25. Shawn Grooms, 22;10; 29. Dylan York, 22:44; 30. Ranger Langdon, 23:17; 31. Daniel Mayer, 23:52; 32. Tim Leeman, 23:55; and 38. Peter Wells, 28:01.
