Medomak Valley boys basketball team opened their KVAC season with a 61-52 win over Oceanside Friday night in Waldoboro. The Panthers scored seven of eight foul shots in the final 1:45, led by Nicholas DePatsy (6/6). Four Panthers scored in double figures in the win, DePatsy 14, Colton Spear 11, Zach Starr 11 and Micah Williamson 10.
