Medomak Middle School boys won the Busline League Track and Field Championships, held at Camden on Saturday. Medomak scored 131, Wiscasset 84, Camden 30, Rockland 29, and GSB 18.
Medomak results: Devon Sproul won the 100 in 12.41 and the 400 in 57.19 and took second in the 200. Jonathan H-Belloquet won the triple jump (34’1.25″), was second in the 100 and fourth in the high jump.
Nick Anderson won the 1600 in 5:31 and the high jump (5′), and was sixth in the 55 hurdles. Dominic Decoff won the shotput (36’8″) and was second in the discus and third in the racewalk. Taylor Packard was second in the 800 and 1600. Daigan McKusic was second in the long jump and triple jump and fourth in the 400.
Zach Ryan was third in the discus and fifth in the 55 hurdles. Austin Haskell was fourth in the 100 and TJ Harriman fourth in the discus. Brent Barrows was sixth in the 1600.
The Riverhawks won the 4×100 relay in 52.75 with Belloquet, Barrows, McKusic and Sproul, and won the 4×400 in 4:31 with Belloquet, Anderson, McKusic, and Barrows.
Wiscasset results: Joe Chapman won the 55 hurdles in 9.63, the 200 in 26.12 and the long jump (18’8″) and was second in the 400. Jason Berry won the racewalk in 9:51, and Kyle Shute was second. Austin Haskell won the 800 in 2:37 and was third in the 1600. Cormac Walsh won the discus (101’2″) and was fifth in the shotput.
Nicholas Smelcer was fourth in the 800 and 1600. John Rines was fifth in the discus and sixth in the shotput. Curtis DeGoffee was sixth in the 400.Walker Mallory placed sixth in the discus.
Wiscasset boys were second in the 4×400 with Chapman, Haskell, Logan Grover, and Mallory running a leg, and were third in the 4×100 with Chapman, Haskell, Grover and Ryan Hanley running.
GSB results: Jonathan Riley was third in the 55 hurdles, 800 and triple jump and sixth in the high jump. Hank Fitzpatrick was fourth in the racewalk. Tyler James placed fifth in the high jump and sixth in the long jump. The Cougars were fourth in the 4×100 relay with Julian Frink, Kevin Sandefur, Rob Millett, and Angus Fake, and were fifth in the 4×100 with Fitzpatrick, Riley, Tim Wells, and James.
Jefferson’s Devon Jones placed second in the shotput.
Medomak results: Nicole Angelico won the 55 hurdles in 10.4, the 100 in 13.25 and the 200 in 29.28, and was fifth in the discus. Shannon Staples won the racewalk in 10.23 and was sixth in the 1600.
Abigail Vail won the discus (58’2″) and was fifth in the 55 hurdles and sixth in the high jump. Desiree Leary was second in discus, and third in the 100 and high jump. Amanda Young was third in the 400, fourth in long jump, and fifth in the 100 and 200. Kelsie Grady took fifth in the 400 and 800. Jessica Prescott was sixth in the shotput.
Medomak girls won the 4×100 relay in 58.28 with Angelico, Leary, Prescott, and Young. The Riverhawks were third in the 4×400 relay with Grady, Brianna Gross, Vail and Young.
Wiscasset results: Michaela Trudeau was third in the racewalk and fourth in the discus. Sadie Carr was third in the 1600. Kasey Cromewell took third in the 800. Samantha Sutter took third in discus and fifth in shotput. Maddy Wehrle was fourth in shotput and sixth in discus. Ellen Tuttle was fourth in racewalk and Lexie Mumbower fifth.
Wiscasset girls were runners-up in the 4×400 relay with McIntire, Trudeau, Wehrle, and Carr, and were fourth in the 4×100 relay with Trudeau, McIntire, Sara Hanley, and Wehrle.
GSB results: Hannah Fake won the high jump (4’3″), was fourth in the 800 and fifth in the 1600. Andrea Gemeinhardt was second in the racewalk. Tess Fields was sixth in the 800.
Jefferson girl Lillian Bissett was fourth in the 55 hurdles and high jump.
