Medomak Valley boys won their opening track meet on April 17 at Camden Hills. There were no field events at the meet due to wet conditions.
The Panthers scored 71 points, followed by Boothbay 66, Oceanside 54, MCI 53, Camden 44, Skowhegan 29, and Nokomis 11.
Gavin Felch led the Panthers with a pair of first place finishes in the hurdling events. Felch won the 110 high hurdles in 17.12 and the 300 hurdles in 44.43.
Daniel Bubar placed 2nd in the 3200 in 11:35. Andrew Cronk placed 3rd in both sprinting events; the 100m in 12.35 and the 200m in 12.35. Kenneth Pruyne took 3rd in the 110 high hurdles in 19.45 and 300 hurdles in 48.07. Trevor DeMaria
was 3rd in the 400 in 59.79. Deagan Poland took 6th in the 1600 in 5:44.
Medomak placed 3rd in two relays, the 4×100 in 49.25 with Cronk, Felch, Zidane McMurrin, and Cole Ashmore, and the 4×800 in 10:05 with Bubar, Tyler Bowman, DeMaria, and Alex Kenniston.
For Boothbay, Kyler Carty won the 800 in 2:17; Joey Paolilo won the 1600 in 5:05, and Kyle Alamo won the 1600m racewalk in 9:07. The Seahawks won the 4×800 relay in 9:29 with Howie Carter, Matt Burnham, Trystan Mercier, and Liam Conlin.
Also placing for Boothbay were Abel Bryer 5. 400, 1:00; Burnham 3. 1600, 5:26; Mercier 3. 3200, 11:50; Shane Johnson 4. 300 hurdles, 49.5; Morgen Wilson 5. racewalk 9.44.
The Seahawks also placed 4th in the 4×100 in 49.66 with Jacob Leanard, Draco Peaslee, Brandon Andrews, and Antonia Maulolo.

Girls results
Medomak girls won the 4×400 relay in 4:46 with Lexi Genthner, Ashlee Wilson, Nicole Nicholls, and Alaina Bissett, and placed second in the 4×100 in 54.78 with the same four team members.
The Lady Panthers placed 4th in the 4×800 in 13:30 with Jill van der Schaff, Rayanne Leach, Abby Griffin, and Acadia Calderwood.
Wilson placed fifth in the 100 hurdles in 19.26; Calderwood took 6th in the 3200 in 15:02 and 8th in the 1600 in 6:54. Van der Schaff took 7th in the 1600 in 6:53.
Hannah Morley won two events for Boothbay, the 800m in 2:44 and the 1600m in 6:03. Samantha Carter won the 1600 racewalk in 10:35 and Jamie Wheeler took 4th in 12:26.
Morgan Crocker took 3rd in two events: the 100 hurdles in 17.84 and the 300 hurdles in 51.26. Angie Perkins was 4th in the 200 in 30.33 and 4th in the 300 hurdles in 51.9. Sinead Miller placed 6th in the 300 hurdles in 57.96 and 7th in the 100 hurdles in 19.67. Taylor Walby was 8th in the 100 hurdles in 19.92.
Boothbay placed 4th in two relays, the 4×100 in 57.84 with Crocker, Sydney Mercier, Miller, and Perkins, and the 4×400 relays in 5:00 with Crocker, Miller, Morley, and Perkins.
