Medomak Valley cheerleaders fell on a stunt, in an otherwise flawless routine in Bangor at the Eastern Maine Class B cheering championships on Saturday. “The rest was great,” coach Rachel Coor said.
The Panthers scored 118.4 to place 8th, two spots out of qualifying for a state berth.
“They showed great improvement over last year, and only missed out by three points. We needed to finish sixth,” Coor said. “We were hoping to get into the 120’s. They are kind of disappointed. We have worked so hard. I was hoping this was the year we would make it to states. Now we have to look to next year.”
