Medomak Valley cheerleaders brought home their first state runner-up plaque Monday night at the state championships held at the Bangor Auditorium in make-up action. Hermon scored 155 points to win their third straight Class B State Championship, and their fifth in seven years.
Medomak scored 148.1 points to beat out third place finisher Ellsworth by 1.3 points. The state runner-up plaque is the fourth trophy the Panther cheering squad has brought home to Medomak this season.
Their state runner-up award will join their 2013 KVAC Championship award, their Jamie Beth Schible Most Improved award, and their 2013 West Class B Championship trophy.
