The Medomak Valley High School varsity football team learned on Monday, that they have won the South Class “D” MPA Good Sportsmanship Award.
The Panthers won the LTC/EMBFO Sportsmanship Award last year, as well.
“Congratulations to Ryan Snell and his players for this prestigious honor. This is a reflection of how Ryan leads his program and the standards he sets for himself, assistants, and players. The kids play physical, but more often than not, are the first ones to extend a hand to help an opponent up after a hard hit,” Medomak Valley athletic director Matt Lash said.
Medomak football will be recognized on Sat., Nov. 19 at Fitzpatrick Stadium in Portland, at the State D Game between Lisbon and MCI.
