Medomak Valley girls soccer team defeated Leavitt 2-0 in a South Class B preliminary game, held at Lincoln Academy on Oct. 26. Unofficial scoring saw Annie Vannoy score on a direct kick less than three minutes into the second half. Sadie Cohen headed in a Vannoy corner kick six minutes later.
Medomak held a 21-8 edge in shots. Kayla Donlin had a quiet day in net for the Lady Panthers with five saves. Carlie Leavitt made 16 stops in net for the Hornets.
