Medomak Valley girls basketball team defeated Nokomis 48-34 on Dec. 20 in the Panthers den. Medomak scored the first nine points of the ball game on an 18-2 run to take an early lead. Scoring leaders for Medomak were Sadie Cohen 16, Kayla Donlin 11 and Abby Lash 9. Nokomis was led by Alexys Mayhew with 11.
