Medomak Valley golf team opened their season on August 26 with an 8-1 win over over Mt.View at Rockland Golf Club. The Panthers are headed up by new coach Kevin Richardson, who takes over for long time coach Peter Stuart.
Brent Stewart (50) beat Joey Danna (49) 1-up in the number one spot. Freshmen Carson Murphy (54) defeated Darrell Roberts (56) 1-up. Nathan Emerson (63) lost to Stephen Koller (58) 3 and 2. Josh Goldrup (52) topped Jacob Rose (61) 2 and 1. Freshman Merritt Gould (65) beat Jordan Roux (74) 2-up. Leighton Winslow (69) beat John Clifford (110) 3 and 1.
