Medomak Valley boys basketball team rallied from behind to beat Lincoln Academy 53-44 Dec. 18 in Newcastle. The Panthers led most of the first quarter, before Brady Leeman hit a half court shot at the buzzer to give the Eagles a one point edge at the break. Lincoln out scored Medomak 19-8 in the second period to take a 29-17 lead into the half. Medomak started making their shots in the third frame, while the Eagles went cold and the period ended in a 36-36 tie. Medomak made 11 of 15 foul shots in the final quarter to win. The Panthers were led by Nicholas DePatsy 20, Colton Spear 12 and Cam Allaire 9. Lincoln was led by Devin Scherer 15 and Brady Leeman 11.
